Who in the Hell is Michelle???

I was born early one foggy morning in the back of a taxicab in Fullerton, California. I had a relatively unmarred time growing up in La Habra, California for the first ten years of my life, despite a few minor run-ins with the law enforcement. It was in my eleventh year when my life was disturbed, disrupted, displaced, dismembered (that was painful), discombobulated (I have no idea what that means)...well, I could go on--but, I won't. Let's just say my mother and step-father [disclaimer: This is a staged picture. James E. Powell is in perfect health with the exception of a slight limp and an unhealthy obssession with vacuuming the lawn] moved my two sisters and I to the outskirts of the incredibly rural backwoods, backwards (whatever you want to call it)County of Burnett. Somehow, I managed to survive my formative years at Grantsburg High School well enough to go on to college at the University of Wisconsin at Madison where I am now a junior double-majoring in Underwater Basketweaving and International Terrorism (you're laughing now, but these skills will really come in handy when our country finally decides to move in on Atlantis).

I am now well into my senior year at UW-Madison. I am living in a pretty nice pad about seven blocks past the Capitol on East Dayton. I have three roommates: Vickie "Cuddles" Eiden, Greg "The Italian Stallion" Rossetti, and "Officer" Keith Doherty. We all get along fabulously mostly due to the fact that I am never home and I have the biggest room equipped with a TV/VCR/cable, new damn computer (Power Mac 6500/250 with all the trimmings), and a refrigerator. What else is there? I also have a few jobs. I maintain the Badger/Packer football website for madison.com, I am a media assistant for the Communication Arts Department and I am a production assistant for the Video Resource Center at Van Hise. I also am a very part-time DJ for Madison Student Radio...WSUM. It's only being webcasted right now so if you download RealAudio and check out their page, you can listen to me from 4-7pm on Thursdays. In my free time, I am the Executive Producer of a public access Saturday morning childrens' TV show called Little Bronco's Fun Shack. This is just getting rolling and I hope to have a web page of it's own up pretty soon.
